§ 28-465. Permits for operation of train of vehicles of excessive size.

The traffic engineer is hereby authorized to issue permits for the operation of trains consisting of self-propelled vehicles and trailers or semitrailers not exceeding 125 feet total length, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., at a rate of speed not to exceed eight miles per hour, on such route as may be designated in the permit, and in accordance with the Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5/1-100—5/20-402), as amended.
