§ 17-31. Duties and powers of the hearing board.

(a)

The hearing board shall conduct all hearings with regard to complaints filed pursuant to section 17-32. The findings and decisions of the hearing board shall be final and shall be deemed to be the findings and decisions of the fair employment and housing commission.

(b)

Any finding of fact or decision of the hearing board must be concurred in by a majority of the members thereof.

(c)

The hearing board shall have the same powers of subpoena and investigations as the commission.
