§ 13-46. Throwing litter from vehicles prohibited.

No person shall throw or deposit any litter from a vehicle upon any public place or public place except in public containers. Any person convicted of this section shall be punished by a fine not less than $125.00 for the first offense and not less than $150.00 for the second offense and not less than $175.00 for the third or subsequent offense occurring within one year of the first offense. In any event, the maximum fine shall be as provided in section 1-5 of this Code for each offense.
